It’s Christmas, David! By David Shannon, is a colorful, nicely illustrated book. It is filled with all sorts of emotions the children can understand. A bit of silly, combined with some bad behavior from David, draw the children right in.
I decided to follow up with the beautifully illustrated book, Away in a Manger, by Thomas Kinkade. The drawings are so pretty, I really just want to jump right into the book.
