Make sure to watch until the end – where you will get to say hi to Moses! 🙂
I am going to admit I can relate to Llama, llama. I sometimes find it hard to wait, and have had meltdowns too. Hahah – we probably all have! This is a great book to read to talk about the “waiting” of Christmas. It is also a good story to remind us to slow down, and give ourselves some space for Christmas.
The first page of this book is a nice opportunity to talk about what we learned last week. I point out the menorah in the window. (See last post: https://storieswithmisslibrary.com/2021/12/03/runaway-dreidel/)
OK – who will admit they have eaten too many cookies during the holidays? (Hand sheepishly raised here!)
We took a moment to smell eggnog.
We also talked about an Advent calendar, and counted the days until Christmas. Oh the waiting…
…it can be so hard!
Let’s all remember to slow down and remember the true gift of Christmas!
Make sure to get some snuggles in…
Happy Holidays to all! (Pictured below: Llama Llama’s cousin Moses the alpaca).
