Elves!
Giving AND receiving, both make us happy.

On the projector, a shoemaker:
During my after school class, we talked about how tall an elf might be. Would they be as tall as you?
Elves actually had been to our school. We followed a trail of glitter. We found a plate with crumbs (elves have been known to steal treats), and some wrappers. They left us some candy and some coloring sheets!
We went back to the library and colored the pages the elves left for us. We also were “shoemakers” and laced some shoes.
We had a few extra minutes so we read this story:
