We have been celebrating Mothers all week! Happy Mother’s Day!
You know this illustration makes me happy. Is there any better way to spend time with your child?

We identified the mommies and their babies. And of course all the wonderful things our mothers do with us and for us.

Come on moms, let your children play in mud! Hahah. Most children told me their mother would not let them.

Our vocabulary word was Joey:

Butterflies were on the projector, because ours emerged at the school this week!

The Kindergarten and TK classes, made sure they were safely let out into the world.

We also said goodbye to our chicks this week. They went to their forever home. Can you believe how fast they grow?

My after school classes, spent extra time with the chicks. It has been so fun to see the children become so comfortable handling them.
In honor of our chicks we read these fun books. These books are always a favorite.

We also had to go on a hunt for some of the animals from our book this week. The moms and babies somehow all got separated! We had to find them all and reunite them.

Of course, we also had to make some Mother’s Day cards. Can a mother ever get enough love?

Berto and baby Beatrix say Happy Mother’s Day!

I feel blessed to be a mother. These are my children, who both attended this sweet school!

Everyday should be Mother’s Day. Print this!
