Last year my sister Mother Goose came for a visit. Little did she know, that a little half elf-half fairy came along in her pocket. He loved St. James so much he decided to stay! He also invited other fairies to join. So now we have fairies everywhere!

Look closely and you will see Mr. Ticklebottom’s fairy door, it is blue.

So now our library is enchanted!

The fairies gave me wings and made me Queen Fairy for the week.

Look at this beautiful book. I think I could spend hours just gazing at the illustrations and trying to find all of the fairies in the book. You probably knew that fairies sleep in the garden, but did you know that fairies read to the forest animals?

Did you know that fairies paint the wings of butterflies and paint the black dots on lady bugs? And teach the birds to sing?

They help unicorns fly, brush the hair of mermaids and make rainbows!

Our vocabulary word was scatter.

Raise your hand if you want to dance with the fairies.

The fairies also brought toadstools for the children to sit on.

They also brought some magic reading wands for each child. We put jewels on them to make them extra special.

Each child also received a very special note from the fairies:

We found signs of the fairies everywhere. We expect that we will find even more elsewhere. We will be looking!

On the projector:

We had even more fun with fairies during my after school classes.
Mother Goose sent me a picture of of Mr. Ticklebottom!

Mr. Ticklebottom asked me to read this book:

In the back of the book we found this note!

We followed his blue sparkles and found magic wands and fairy dust he left for us.

He also brought these, so we went on a fairy hunt.
