Every day should be EARTH DAY right?
We listen to birds and frogs from a recording when we get to this page:
What an amazing gift when we get a rainbow!
We play with our earth, our earth helps us grow, and she sings to us!
Pollution and garbage are sad:
The children all pledge to pick up any garbage they find. Maybe they will plant a tree or a flower. Luckily we have a wonderful garden (and Miss Garden) at school where we can continue to learn about how cool our earth is.
Make sure to hug a tree! 😉

On the projector – our amazing earth!
We had more time to explore with my after school classes. We took binoculars and magnifying glasses outside to appreciate and explore our earth. We hugged trees, we made nature bracelets, and clay faces on a tree:
…and of course we have Beatrix on our earth! THANK YOU EARTH!! You are magnificent and we promise to take care of you.
