GREEN EGGS AND HAM by Dr. Seuss
We had another really fun Dr. Seuss week!
We had a parade on Monday with a large cake for Dr. Seuss:

Tuesday was stripes and favorite hat day, Wednesday was “Wacky Wednesday”, Thursday “Green Eggs and Ham” day, and Friday was crazy socks day (Fox in Sox):

The children love Green Eggs and Ham. Every year I think I am going to read something different, but I always come back to it. I think it is because the children cannot believe it when I actually eat the green eggs and ham! One day, I will put a secret camera behind me to catch all of their reactions. Just priceless.

Green Eggs and Ham on the projector:

For my afternoon classes we has some fun making green eggs and ham with a little bit of “slime”:

We then read HOP ON POP:
After the story, the children had to hop on a balloon to pop it and find their “special”word from the story. Some of them found their words rhymed.

We finished with a birthday party for Dr. Seuss!
