Ok, so Moses is an alpaca – but don’t they look like they could be related? How do you make a fun book even more special? By bringing Llama Llama’s cousin Moses to school to interact with the children. I hope it worked! AND perfect for many of the classes who were still on the letter A.
What is the difference between llamas and alpacas?

Every book I read I ask myself how I can make it more fun or interesting for the children. So why not bring in an alpaca that looks a little like Llama Llama? I am lucky enough to have a friend who has alpacas and one of them just had a baby! Moses (named because his mother left him in the creek after he was born), is only 4 months old. He is so sweet and for the most part, was very patient and curious to meet the children.
Moses is young enough and small enough that my friend Robin can just put him in the car:
You can find the story here (hint if you fast forward to the very end you will find a video of Moses and his mother):
