We have had a lot of turkey fun this week!
Starting with a visit from a real turkey. His name is Tom. He belongs to a friend, so I decided to borrow him. He was so great with the children, showing off for every class! When the kids gobbled, he would gobble right back. What fun he was!!
The week before Thanksgiving, with the cooler air and the holiday coming up, the children usually have a lot of energy. So playing “turkey tag” is a really fun way for them to get some of that energy out. After reading our book, they also will tell whoever is the turkey to “run, turkey, run!”. And of course they all run after it…
