Why do we have vocabulary words? It is NOT to prepare your children for the SAT – ha ha. It is for language. Most of these words are an introduction to new words. Many of these words may be new to the children, so they are learning and practicing new sounds as well. At some point they will hear the word again and again and it will enter easily into their vocabulary. They don’t need to memorize it or even say it properly. It is all just fun to practice learning and building on what they already know to get them ready to read! MAKE IT FUN!
