I am sure it will come as no surprise that I absolutely love libraries. When my children were young, one of our favorite outings was to the library to gather stacks of books (mostly so I wouldn’t have to read the same ones over and over again—haha!). I hope you will consider making the library part of your own family’s routine. There is truly nothing better than snuggling up with a good book—whether with your children or all on your own!
Time to go to the library!

Berto agrees about taking a wheelbarrow to the library!

We know better than to stand on the table…

But it sure is fun to roar loudly…

…so we had to try.

Yay, story time. (But it is most certainly not just for babies).

Sometimes it is fun to dance and sing in the library.

Yes, we danced too!

Our vocabulary word:

Each student took home a card to remind them to go to the library (and to dance).

On the projector( with frog sounds):

Next door in Maker Space, look at these cute frogs reading in their habitats.

In the after school classes, we read more froggy books – we have a nice collection.
We then colored frogs, made some frog masks, ate some flies and danced!

We also had some fun with these frogs. We had a race going down the hall.

We finished our time together creating a “library book”. Who will check the book out?
