Think back to the excitement of snow when you were a child! Did you sleep with your pajamas inside out? Or with a spoon under your pillow? All in the hopes that it would snow.

I love this book because it captures the magic of a child’s excitement about snow, despite the world around saying it will not snow.

Hahah, sound familiar? How many times has it snowed, despite the weatherman saying it won’t.

It is a wonderful book to talk about all of the things we could do in the snow.

Catch snow on your tongue? Make snow angels? Make a snowman? Sled?

Or better yet, how about a snowball fight in the library?

No snow in the forecast anytime soon, but it is sure fun to use our imaginations!
