How does Santa go down the chimney? Isn’t that the question every child has asked for as long as anyone can remember? And they are still asking. What if you don’t have a chimney?
This is a cute, funny book that addresses these questions. And of course, Mrs. Clause knows all.

Does he go headfirst? Feet first? Or bottom first? Mrs. Clause says that he has gone bottom first and it is never a good thing. Yes! He gets stuck. Thankfully, the reindeer are there to help!

Vocabulary word:

Santa loves all animals, and they love him – of course!

Maybe only leave one or two cookies out for Santa. Mrs. Clause is a little worried about his weight.

Down the chimney or through the door, we are so glad that Santa comes!

Mrs. Clause brought some video to show the children. Did you know that Santa and the reindeer have to practice before Christmas Eve? Mrs. Claus reminded the children that everyone has to practice things at different points in their lives. The children in the library practice sitting and listening to the story. It’s okay if they aren’t perfect—they’re learning and working on it.

During the after school class, the children added glitter and fun to ornament balls. Mrs. Clause told them that Santa will be looking for them on their trees. (They also added a photo with Mrs. Clause!)

We also talked about how Santa goes down their chimney or gets in their house?

Also, all children need to be on the lookout! Mr. Ticklebottom happens to love Christmas. (Notice he looks a little like Santa). His favorite thing to do is to cause a little mischief with Christmas elves. We will be on the looking for any signs of this during the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

Mrs. Clause and Berto approve of this book!
