We had fun reading this book this week. For the younger ones, we talked about or reviewed the colors. For my older ones I like to say the wrong color to see if they are listening – which they love. After I do it once, they really start paying attention and are thrilled when they catch me.

Look at all the things Kitty imagines that could be in the golden egg. What would be in your golden egg? Miss Library’s golden egg would include books, flowers, maybe some chocolate and some tea.

Kitty is passing up all of the eggs. She ONLY wants that golden egg.

Oh dear, Kitty. Your behavior is not the best.

Our vocabulary word:

Awwww… what nice friends Kitty has.

Good news! Kitty likes Easter after all.

Can you take on some of these challenges?

Each child took home a “special note” and a little treat.

The Pre-K, TK and Kindergarten classes took these challenge envelopes back to their classrooms.

On the projector – we danced with the Easter Bunny and some Easter eggs!.Why not?

Speaking of eggs. We started our eggs this week. 21 days until chicks hatch!

We read this book during the after school class this week:

We then made Easter bonnets:

We deocrated some Easter eggs:

We were surprised by a note from the fairies. We followed the glitter to some small fairy Easter eggs! Even fairies celebrate Easter.

We ended the day with a big Easter parade wearing our Easter bonnets!
