We are all so happy to be back to school. I thought this might be a fun story to read for the first week of school.
Dinosaurs go to school??
I do like that he is reading a book.
A dinosaur takes a lunch to school – just like we do.
We wondered about these pictures. It makes sense that he is not in the car, he would not fit. What if we saw a dinosaur on top of a car on the way to school!?
Will the dinosaur fit in the bus or will have go on top of the bus? What if we saw a school bus with dinosaurs on top going to school?
We would never interrupt our friends during show and tell. We would not yell either. (But we thought it was funny how all of the children were missing their teeth)
Sometimes it really is hard to sit still at school. Our vocabulary word was fidget.
If a dinosaur were on our playground or in our classroom – would we play with it? It might be kind of cool!?
Goodbye Dinosaur!
On the projector: we had dinosaurs in the library!
Next door in Maker Space, they had fun with dinosaurs too.

Each child took home a Magic star. Hopefully they will use it all year long with each book they take home.
